What my students say about practicing with me:

Koko’s yoga classes are great for beginners and pros alike, the practice is adjusted to the needs of people attending and guided in a calm and fun manner. Which makes it very enjoyable, until you realise you’re doing a Van Damme headstand-split. As someone who never did any sports before I can confirm Koko will take you just a step outside of your comfort zone physically, so there is always a sense of progress. As someone having trouble with mind-body connection after big weight loss, now I can’t imagine a more helpful exercise in body mindfulness then an hour and a half of yoga under Koko’s guidance.

Koko has been my Yoga teacher for over 2 years now and still every single class she manages to surprise me with a new movement, a slight adjustment that deepens my practice or wise words that are delivered at the exact right time in my life. On top of that she never fails to put a smile on my face with her unique sense of humour. Koko takes great care of her students wellbeing and she is an expert in helping people with injuries adjust their practice in a way that enables them to engage their body without aggravating their injury and strengthening the supporting muscles at the same time.

I’ve started yoga about a year ago and Koko has been such a great teacher! Koko is designing her class to be challenging enough and to make everybody sweat but she’ll also make sure that no one is hurting themselves. She also helped me with a few tips to incorporate in my daily routine for running my first half marathon. For personal reasons, I had to stop practicing yoga for a month but when starting again, I made sure it was with Koko! Also, she’s just the most lovely human being!

Koko has been my teacher in both yoga and life. My experience of yoga in the US was not a positive one. In Berlin, Koko was the person who taught me that yoga can be as healing as it can be challenging, that it’s about community rather than capitalism or perfect-bod fitness; and that it can be fun rather than a workout chore. Thanks for opening my eyes, Koko Yoga!

Koko offers a fantastic yoga practice for beginners and pros alike. From training flexibility, strengthening the core to mindfulness and meditation. I dabbled in yoga briefly before, but I never lingered for long. However, started Koko’s yoga for the need to detach from my day-to-day, refresh my mind, and strengthen my physical form. This way I discovered my new love for yoga and stayed with Koko ever since.
Koko is a phenomenal teacher, taking care of her students, their personal preferences and needs, which is great for people with past injuries. Besides, her beautiful sense of humour and lightheartedness makes everyone feel welcome and appreciated.

Koko is an amazing yoga teacher who always listens to people’s moods, wishes and abilities when deciding on what sequence to do. Her positive attitude (as well as dry humor) will always encourage you to go through her twisty, sweaty and lovingly crafted classes and do more than you thought you could!

It’s been more than 2 years that I practice yoga with Koko and I really enjoy it. She starts the class by asking our mood and she takes it under consideration during the practice, which I really appreciate. The class varies, sometime it can be very dynamic, others more soft, but always there is a challenging part. Koko’s adjustments and tips have helped me a lot to improve poses and to understand better what each pose offers to the body. Also the alternatives that Koko provides for each pose are keeping the challenge and interest high for all levels. Music, scents, small massage during savasana and jokes are contributing to a very nice yoga experience!

It was some years since I last practised and Koko started to offer morning classes at work which found my love for yoga again. Classes were fun and a nice break from work to really connect with your mind and body. Koko guided us through our practices and made some nice personal touches; giving us some little stretches during our Savasana was a nice touch.
